Anyway, remember that not all consulates work at the same speed. I think that as things are going right now, 5 months is a bare minimum for a very speedy consulate. Few people are going to get through it that quickly.

Thank you jeffreyhy!!! YOU get it!!
I am still trying to figure out how it seems a lot of folks receipted in
30 days (I really do think my file was sent to the wrong center as
someone else on this board pointed out the possibility of that happening
and not to Missouri, I have been here for about 2 months and can't
recall anyone else having to wait two months to receipt.)
One thing I have learned---even if you DO have legal representation,
that should not be the ONLY source of K-3 info at your disposal.
Informed is AWARE!!! (and again, everyone here, with the exception of
one person and she knows who she is, has been helpful to me....)

Maryanne,
Thanks for clearing that up. From initial filing of the I-130 to visa at
your particular consulate I agree, then, that your estimate is
reasonable.
I was confused because your post said "(that does NOT include the time
for the interview at the Embassy in
London.) " Â So I thought that you were talking about the petition
phase only.

September sent to MSC
Recepited Nov. 7th
*estimated date of approval 2/28*
That is 6 months right there.

This is a pretty childish statement. Apparently you don't know how to quit while you're ahead.
I had actually decided to take it easy on you and haven't said too much of anything to you lately. Apparently, you are too self-absorbed to have even noticed that. Your posts are still as convoluted and off-the-wall as they always were, I had just gotten tired of hearing myself bitch about it. In the beginning I was actually trying to help you. But I got disgusted because .......you don't listen when people do answer your questions because your fishing for an answer you like better ...... you are argumentative and insulting with the people that do try to help you........... you ask bizarre questions that nobody can possibly answer and then get pissy because nobody breaks their neck trying answer you ......... you only ever give half of the information, and people have to keep asking you to clarify your post ............ AND you think you know everything anyway so why bother asking?

Its a usenet term (usually written as *plonk*) that indicates publicly
that the writer has killfiled the previous poster. Although it sounds
drastic, all that happens is that their newsreader is configured
henceforth not to fetch future articles from that source.
Although Maryanne has been a prolific usenet poster since about 1997 and
has used this term before, she has significantly never explained exactly
how she configures her WebTV to actually do this (hint: WebTV doesn't
possess this feature)![Smile](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
