Default What is the timeline for a GC holder apply for his family ?

I filed I-130 for my wife and 2 children. One of my child is going to be 21
in December and still not married.

Does anyone know the timeline?

What is going to happend to my son who is going to be 21 in December ?

Any suggestion ?

Thx

The priority date for the category your family falls into (Category 2a) is currently around Nov 2001. That means that applications made on that date are currently being processed.

This means that if applications are processed as fast as they are received: a BIG if it may be reasonable to expect that if you file now, you may be able to get them in in 2010. I don't know how you son turning 21 will affect his priority date.

However, be aware that there are too many variables for anybody to even begin to guess accurately what the real date will be.
