We have just sent to vermont our I-129f petition. I understand that soon we will get a NOA stating that they have received the petition and how long processing will take. How long after sending the forms should I expect to receive the first notice of action? Also, I have heard that there will be a second NOA. What is this and what does it tell you? Please advise.

Yes the first NOA is telling you they received the petition and how long for
processing. It usually comes within 5 days after you mail the petition.

The second NOA is the big one. Thats the one that tells you if it was approved. For
many it seems to coming in around 2 to 3 weeks. In my case though for some strange
reason, I am on day 45 now and still waiting impatiently for VSC 2nd NOA.
