If their father is a USC, then so are they and won't need a visa; just a US passport. We know far to little about this person's immigration history and relationship with the father of her children.

Nope, not guessing, David. I asked her a question. See post #15. Being their biological father doesn't mean they were married or wanted to marry or weren't married and are now divorced, whatever.

It sounds as if you did everything you could to keep the family together. It is now up to him to pull his weight and work out how to come and visit the children -- and for you to rebuild your life in the UK. Good luck.

At 8 and 10 the children could fly as unaccompanied minors and be escorted by the airline. My daughter flew unaccompanied from the age of 5 in the UK and loved it.
