Isn't domicile one of the I-864 "qualifications"?

I meet the I-864 financial qualifications by virtue of assets alone, it's the domicile issue that worries me.

But the domicile issue can be overcome with further documentation.

If you don't meet the qualifications financially, there's nothing more to be done.

The domicile issue is solved with a plane ticket and the USC using it.

Delay, not denial.

You can look up the visa ineligibilities at travel.state.gov

Should that have been if we DO meet the qualifications financially, there's nothing more to be done?

I meant, if someone (not you), has a problem with meeting the income requirement part of the I-864, and can't find a joint sponsor, then THEY could be denied the visa. Nothing more they could do in that case, if they don't have the income or assets or joint sponsor...no visa.

Sorry for the confusion.
