I am a British citizen and have recently been granted Permanent Residency in Canada. I will be visiting the US (cross by land from Canada) in January of next years to go snowboarding for 4 months.
I realise I will be granted a 90 visa on entry, but how easy are these to extend?
Or should I apply for a B2 visa - how easy are these to get?
Many thanks for any help!!

Doubt you will be given a B-2 by the US Consulate. So snowboard for 3 months instead of 4. There are more mountains and probably been places to snowboard on your side of the border so remain in Canada. Just my take on things.
You cannot extend the 90 day VWP or its US/Can equivalent.

VWP does not allow you to work.
