visit in jail & green card
Hello,
I have a close relative that has been in jail for over a year. I would
like to visit him and therefore I have to fill up a form. In this form
they ask some questions and I guess it's just for security reasons. My
application for green card is in progress and It's on the last stage
(INS). Do you think I could damage my Green card process by visiting
him? Do you think it could cause any problem for me? Please advise!
Thanks

Re: visit in jail & green card
I can't see how engaging in a lawful activity would damage your Green Card
process, as long as you yourself aren't involved in any criminal activity.
