Visa waiver and crossing from US to Canada
I'm planning to flay to New York (using I-94W) and during my stay cross to Canada. Would I have to give up the departure section of the waiver going to Canada and complete another I-94W on returning to the US?

Depends on the length of the stay, if it's going to be less than 90 days, you don't have to.
