Default visa visa sponsorship versur/ independent tourist application

I am currently in the US and in the middle of changing over my F1
(student)visa to a H1 B visa and currently. In the mean time my girl
friend (Indian citizen)wants to visit me in US for just 10 days. she
is currently on a student visa in UK. We really dont plan to marry and
over stay or any thing..
What do you guys think we should be doing.. which is the safest bet.
1) Myself sending her sponsorship documents and invite letter and
giving a letter to sponsor her.
2) Just let her apply all by her self to visit the US for 10 days for
a complete tourist interest. As if she doesn't have any one in the
US. In thsi case she will have to show ample amount of funds in her
banks in UK/India.

I am just skeptical for two reasons

-The visa officermight assume that we will marry here and she will
apply for dependent visa while being on B2 visa.
- Since I am in the in teh middle of changing visa so that might not
look stable enough.
what is your opinion on this?
Thanks

Thousands and thousands of people visit Friends in the US from UK

And we are only talking about 10 days. Why over complicate it. Would not need to show that much for a 10 day Holiday.

Actually, she should be in good shape. Usually, young Indian women indeed
find it difficult to get a visa to the USA, especially if they have a
boyfriend there. Have her emphasize that you are an H-1B (or F-1), and the
problem will turn into a benefit. This is because:

- she would not be likely to try and get a GC because you don't have one,
either.
- applying for a B-2 with the intent to get married and then switch to H-4
or F-2 would actually be legal in this particular situation.
