Default Visa for over-21 y/o adult children

Hi All

I am new here, we are considering buying a business in Florida but can anyone advise if there is a route for our kids to apply for citizenship/visa when they turn 21? We plan to move Jan 12 and they will be 11 and 14.

Any advice would be helpfull.

Regards

You are considering an E-2 visa ...I presume

there is no direct route to a greencard for any of you
the kids can never work ...and have to leave the US at 21 ....

Thought so, Concerned that in 5 years time the oldest coould get kicked out and we've invested all our money in a business.

Rethink needed I think.

Thanks.

It is not uncommon for a business to hire the young of the next generation in a managerial position. Just saying.

You may want to consult with an attorney to discuss your options.

Even Ray agrees with that one.

More common

Marriage to USC, and then sponsor Parents.

H1 through employer after Uni.

True. However, this validates my often made point that there may be "other ways to skin the cat."

That's presuming the business hasn't gone bankrupt in 5 years

Good luck to the OP though!
