Visa Help

I am currently living in the UK and i have an opportunity to train with Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville, Kentucky. The first part of the course will last for 13 weeks if i pass that I will be able to go on to the second part which will last for a year and i was wondering what type of visa i would need.

Interesting.

It is what I call Comedy wrestling, so popular of UK Saturday afternoon tv years ago.

I would ask the school first, I was going to say F1 but not so sure.

We have insufficient information to respond. You need to tell us what
Ohio Valley Wrestling is and what kind of training will be involved.

Ohio Valley Wrestling is a teaching/independant company. Not sure what kind of training will be involved just says that they will teach you the basics, i have already contacted the school about what type visa i would need but they couldn't help me.

A B-1 maybe? Since it's not an accredited educational institution in the tradtional sense I don't think an F-1 (student visa) would fly.

Tricky. Since they can't help you, they are apparently not accredited to
sponsor you for an F-1 or M-1. Is this a training with the intent to
prepare you for a job, or is it strictly a hobby? A B-1 might be a distant
possibility if it is professional training, although I have some doubts
that it would fly.

The best solution would be for the school to go through the hoops of
sponsoring you for either an F-1 or M-1. My guess is that it would be an
M-1 in this case.

Another remote possibility might be an H-3.
