Default visa cost in London

Hi Folks No word on a date for London interview yet , however i am slightly concerned
about the cost. I have two K2 children going thru this process with me ( I'm a K1 ).
I understand the £125 per person for a medical, however after going to the US Embassy
site i am totally lost on other charges. Who has to pay the $325 ? just myself or
each of us ? Looks like i better go talk to my bank manager again again ....

thanks in advance Jan )

The K-visa only costs about $45 USD. Is that what you are referring to with the
$325? Alvena

See the Doc Steen site here:
http://www.mindspring.com/~docsteen/...o/visainfo.htm I am not a lawyer, and this
is not immigration advice. The information I provide is mostly gleaned from old
newsgroup posts and visa links on the internet. If you want or need a lawyer, go to:

Jan, I have my interview with London Embassy on Tuesday and yesterday I received the packet 4 - confirmation letter, maps, medical info and another DS156 form to complete - this one includes a payment slip for the visa application on page 3 and it has to be taken to a Barclays Bank and paid in cash and the amount is £32.00. With regards to your K2's on the instructions form it states 'A separate form and separate visa application fee are required for each person who will be applying for a visa'.

Hope this helps.

I went for my medical last Thursday and paid £125 for it plus and extra £55 for 2 jabs I needed. The interview is £32 which you have to pay before you go down there by going to the bank, make sure they stamp the form and the recipit!!! I think but am not 100% sure but if your kids are under 15 the medical is cheaper but can't remember by how much.

Cost of train ticket £30
Cost of medical £125
Cost of 2 shots £55
Finally gettting the K1 visa PRICELESS!!!!!!

I got my K1 last week (yeay). It's £32 per person for the visa (paid in advance at a
bank and stamped by the cashier). The medical is £125 for adults and the children are
cheaper (can't remember how much as I have none, but £25 springs to mind...). My
total cost was £157. At a guess (if I got the kids medical price correct) yours
should be around £271

The letter I got with packet 4 indicated the cost for adults was £85, but this has
gone up to the forementiond £125 (be aware of that).

Hope this helps

Where did you get $325 from? No (you'll be pleased to hear) - the visa fee is just
£32 per person
