Default Visa Appointment Advance Booking ?

Hubby's work will only pay for flights back to our home country to renew our Visa Stamps (me and dude as hubby did his in Singapore while on business). So I suppose we have to hit London at Thanksgiving.

Does anyone know how far in advance we can make our appointments. Embassy website says 5 days wait for appointment and 5 days processing time but can I call now to make an appointment for the end of November?

I'm cheap and don't want to pay $16 to call and ask them

We booked ours around 6 weeks out when we called for an appointment in mid June, no problems requesting the exact date we wanted and it just took 1 call.
