My wife crossed on her K1 visa 3 months ago. We were married on 7/19.
I called the BCIS 800 number to find out what the next steps are for her to
adjust her status and get her EAD.
The woman told me to file these docs with my local office..
I-485 adjustment of status
G-325A biographic info
I-864 financial support
I-765 work authorization
I-131 travel document
She said all will take between 3 to 6 months.
My wife wants to find a job.
I thought she would get her EAD immediately after we are married.
Does anyone know a way to get the EAD more quickly.
Thanks!

I think the speed of your EAD completely depends on your local office. Who told you it would take 3-6 months? Someone from the national BCIS office? I have seen local office that take as little as one day, and others that take months. Here is a link that has current processing times. It may not be the most up to date, but it will give some type of reference point.

John,
Her entry stamp gives her permission to work for 90 days from entry. Have you
applied for her social security number yet? Most employers won't hire you
unless you have that and the EAD, but there are those that will accept the SSN
number as proof (along with a copy of her passport). Unfortunately, there's no
way to speed things up.
If she's already in the computer she can get her SSN number immediately. If
she's not and they have to check with the BCIS, it could take awhile; mine
took 8 weeks in CA.
Good luck!

FWIW, employers have no discretion here
If the applicant presents a document listed as valid for the I-9, the
employer can not refuse them based on the documents type.
For instance, a SS card (not showing restrictions) and proof of identity
(DL, or even foreign passport) is one way to prove you are eligible to
work. For employment that doesn't legally require a PR or a citizen, the
employer has to accept those documents without questioning your
citizenship or other immigration status. They would not be able to
request a work visa, etc.
