WOW, glad I was able to submit my I-751 now. That's a WHOPPER of an
increase:
$200 + $75 bio to $545 + 80 bio.
$275 vs $625.
Almost paid for my father's day present :-)

Wow for once I am lucky - eligible to file N400 Jul 14 - it's ready now and I am itching to send it off especially now with saving a few hundred bucks

For everyone planning to cut it fine with your filing dates, be sure to use a date calculator (like this one: http://www.timeanddate.com/date/dateadd.html) to make sure your submissions are sent inside the correct window.

on the bright side, look at how much you'll save on medical insurance
but pluck a monkey sideways as I'm a couple months out from being able to apply to remove conditions, so this has me well and truly borked.

These aren't fee increases---it's called legalised *extortion!*
GC fees are jacked up to almost $1000---suddenly that $350 I paid for
Ken's looks like a bargain!
(AND these increased fees *aren't* going to improve immigration
services, they are going to fund the war. Immigrants again getting s**t
on again!)

Re: USCIS Fee Schedule Effective: July 30, 2007
I wonder whether between now and Jul 30 there will be a rush of applications for various things in order to avoid the fee hikes (aka extortion) and thus an even bigger backlog for USCIS. This assumes there are lots of people out there who are eligible to apply (eg for N400) but haven't yet for whatever reason.
