USA visit Visa experience for Canadian PR Muslims...
I have a USA visit visa which will expire this month so I have to apply for new visa. Should I apply now or wait or forget about applying for the USA visit visa. Can someone (who is having similar status) share their recent experience after new orders or give their recommendations.
My status
1.I am Canadain PR
2.Having a Pakistani passport
3.I am Muslim
4.My last visit Visa was valid for 1 year which will expire soon
5.My wife is already having 10 years visa, daughter is carrying Canadian passport and my son is carrying Australian passport so they will not need to apply
6.I live in Canada close to USA border so I almost travel to the USA every month for sight seeing, shopping etc

There is no reason not to apply. The "new orders" have no impact on Pakistani citizens.
In any case the "new orders" have been rejected by a US federal appeal court, so currently have no impact on anyone.

Thanks. I went to the USA yesterday border was like any other day. The only thing different was traffic which was because of pleasant weather. I am planning to apply for the visa and let's see what happens.

My friend's wife who is also a Muslims applied and was given 10 years visa. I applied and was told that my visa has been granted but I will be collecting my passport tomorrow to confirm if I have been granted the visa or not. Overall the person who was taking my interview was very nice and friendly.

Contrary to the impression given by the majority of media reports there is no vindictive vendetta by the US government against muslims in general.
