Hello fellow Brits,A friend of mine has got into a bit of trouble.Hes from ukl but is not legal here in the usa.He was pulled over by the cops and he gave his british drivers license as id.He got a ticket and was given a court date in the mail.He never recieved the letter and now he has a warrant out for his arrest!!He is a pro. gentleman and not a trouble maker a very hard working guy he wants to sort this matter straight away,but is afraid if he hands himself in they may check his status and he may get into trouble and get deported ..will this happen are the law enforcement affiliated with ins or homeland security if you like????Hes also getting ready to ask girlfriend too marry him which in the long run will make him a resident . Does anyone know what to do in this situation???? :scared: :scared:

See a Immigration Laywer very quickly...Florida Sheriff are supposed to check Alien status when met in the course of their duty.. Unfortunately the pro. gentleman seems to be, here illegally, working illegally, and now an outstanding warrant..and not a troublemaker.
