Default USA Greencard London

eI have started the process (I130 etc/American wife). On the form I told them that I lived in Holland for a year about 24 years ago and they have now written to ask me for a Dutch address to do a police check on me in Holland. I have written to the Embassy to tell them that I no longer have any records from this time and can no longer remember my address. This was a couple of weeks ago and so far I have had no reply. Does anyone have any idea how long I should wait to hear from them or if I should be phoning them instead?

Thanks,
Rob

Don't ask. Give them what you can.

As part of your visa application, you are required to submit a police report from any country you lived in for a year or more, over the age of 16. Try googling "reciprocity table" and you'll find out how you can obtain a Dutch police report.
