Hi
I have an US green card but i moved to canada with my parents in 1991.
Since then , I have become a canadian citizen again (with my dad
without me filing or doing anything as I was under 18). Now I'm 24
and will be graduating from University. I want to go to the US to
work. Any recommendations or ideas?
Any input is welcome..
Thank you..
Max

The GC is most likely abandoned. You have to live in the US for the GC
to remain valid.

Just one question. Why is it that you don't want to work in Canada
anyway?

I wanted to know if there is a way for me to "activate" the greencard.
As for working in Canada.. I would love to stay and work in canada
but there aren't many quality engineering jobs. I basically want to
keep my options open.

Ahhh so you would much rather come and take a job away from an
American citizen. SAorry, but there aren't that many here either. You
might want to try India.

At that point you will have to explain why your GC is not abandoned. Read more about this special visa in newsgroups.
