US citizen: how to sponsor my brother?

Hello, I am US citizen and I'd like to know if I can sponsor my younger brother for
the green card. He entered the USA with a 5-year multiple entry tourist visa last
month. Is it possible to change his visa status while he's in the USA. Any suggestion
would be greatly appreciated. I just want him to stay with me in the USA...legally.
