I am a SW Engr and applied for I-485 (Adjust of Status) along with I-765 (for EAD
card) in Oct, 2001. When I received the receipt notices, I found typos in my last
names on both the receipts. Upon bringing it to my lawyer's notice he asked me to
wait till I get the request for fingerprinting.

Problem: I received my EAD card couple of weeks back. There were no typos there..
However, the request for fingerprinting notice does have the same typo in the last
name, as it was in the receipt notices. The fingerprinting is due within a month or
so from now. I can't get across to the lawyer as he seems to be in an extended
vacation. I am worried - Can anyone suggest what I should do? Would it be a problem,
if I went ahead with the fingerprinting with a photo ID?

Please advise !
