Default two TN's at once?

I am renewing my TN in two weeks at the mexican/US border (I'm Canadian), which is nerve wracking enough. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. My question is, since I am renewing in two weeks, then I have to renew two to three weeks after that since I am switching employers, is it at all possible to kill two birds with one stone? im guessing its not that easy.

thanks!
