Default Two I-140's and I-485 - Changing Underlying Basis

Hi all,

I am looking for some advice on what to do for next steps. I am currently in the USA on an L1A visa as a UK passport holder.

My company sponsored me to EB1C green card, which has a priority date of Feb 2019. This was finally approved in December 2019. We have now filed I-485 AOS which is pending.

Given the slow speed we were making on the EB1C application preparation and for reliance just on myself for a GC, I also filed an EC1A petition which has now also been approved. The priority date of the EB1A is November 2019.

I have also filed EAD I-765 and AP separately and they are in process also.

Waiting for the GC on the EB1C is the easiest path, but if circumstances needed (such as no longer employed by current employer) how would I go about changing my underlying petition to the EB1A approved one. Clearly I would also need to remain in the USA having entered on L1 until the EAD/AP is issued.

Advice welcome.

Any advice welcome.
