TSC- Do actual people work there?

Hi there,

I filed an I-130 at the TSC in March of this year for my UKC husband, and received a
NOA a week later with a "helpful" little phone number to call in order to find out
the status of his case. Ever since then I have phoned and phoned, but to no avail.
The number is always busy. Has anyone EVER gotten through at Texas? I'm just
wondering if it's all a big joke , a phone line in an abandoned warehouse, or one
phone line at this place. Any clues?

As someone told me in an above post, call there late at night and then you can
enter your receipt number or other numbers as explained in the recording. If you
want to chat with a real person, good luck...keep trying every second and you may
get through.

The number I have for TSC 1 214 381 1423 I have just called and used the automated service. I have managed to talk to someone after pressing redial for ages and then being on hold for an age. But you can talk to someone if you have a lot of patience. Try the automated system.

I agree entirely with the above posts. As I am 2 hours behind TSC, I've been easily
able to call late at night. Call late--a few days between. I understand the wait is
terrible for the 2nd NOA, but it's not really THAT bad. One day when you've been
waiting months...? :o) The automated system is easy. :o) (PS: Earliest I've
gotten through is 11PM Eastern time--that's where the fiance is!)
