Default Travel on H1B visa after transfer

Hi there;

I've been reading similar posts on this group (which is great, by the
way)- but now I have a question which I need to have answered.

I recently moved employers and transferred my existing H1-B from my old
company (Company A) to my new company (Company B). Everything went a-ok
and I have the approval notice. However, now I'm not sure what to do-
the visa that is in my passport is still valid: it is set to expire the
end of 2007, but the name listed on it is my original company (Company
A). Can I still travel on the visa in my passport despite this??? I
have the approval notice for my new employer, so my transfer went
though. Is the name on it just superfluous?

I had planned a vacation for next month, but now I wondering whether I
need to cancel it and arrange a trip to the US Consulate in the UK now!

Any help is MUCH appreciated!

The company name on the visa is irrelevant. You should carry your
petition and show it with your visa.
