Default travel between naturalization interview and oath

Hello all,
I have couple of questions and if you can help me with it that would be great!

1. Is it OK to travel abroad between naturalization interview and oath?
2. How long can it take from interview to oath? (NYC)
3. Is it OK to reschedule Oath? Do you need to have a good reason for it? Can it be denied?
4. If there is no time to receive a passport after oath can you travel on certificate of naturalization?

Thanks a lot,

golubika

1. It's perfectly fine to travel between interview and oath, as long your trip is not longer than 6 months.
2. Usually it takes somewhere between two weeks and two months, depends on district office and on the status of application. Name checks are known to cause more delays.
3. It's OK to reschedule oath but usually not recommended since it can create delays. You don't need any reason for it and I don't believe it can be denied.
4. To travel you need US passport, you can't travel on CZ certificate.
