Meetings are fine. However, you're a manager... can you honestly tell anyone here that you haven't done any managing whatsoever in almost 5 months? I wouldn't believe it... and likely, neither will a US immigration officer.

Your paragraph I was responding to referred to e-mail and things "happening electronically". I took it that the meetings you missed were because you were in the US not despite it. As Ian said you can come to the US to attend meetings on the VWP. You cannot set up a virtual office on the beach with your laptop and mobile phone and perform your usual job that you have outside the US. Is anyone going to notice if you come for a two week holiday and take a couple of calls or send an e-mail, but you don't expect us, or a US CBP officer to believe that you were absent from your job for months without doing anything, do you?

Not sure you could set up an office on the beach.

Too sandy surely?

Depending on when I started managing, yes.

So you aren't a part of the "we" that "just" put out a recording and secured a tour? Then the artist should manage fine until you get your visa status sorted out.

That you now have to qualify your statements, suggests that your question has moved beyond the realm of "Is it allowed?" to "Can I get away with it?" I'll note that the two are not interchangeable. Good luck to you. Those who try to play the system often get burned... very badly!

I think this case is more in the realm of "Have I got away with it?"

And cautioning the OP that what they are doing might be illegal isn't useful?
