This story seem too incredible to be true, and there's certainly aspects of the case which are not highlighted in the article. Overall though, I'll avoid Winslow, AZ in the future. http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-7807...feeds%2Flatest

Let me guess. The friends all know the Judge? I know of a similar story although not as dramatic as this one but the kid concerned (a UKC) ended up in juvenile diversion court for what amounted to a schoolboy prank. That was in Tulsa, OK.

I read this in the norwegian papers the other day. Sounds like if there wasn't for bad luck, this guy would have no luck at all. 7 years sounds excessive, but the Norwegian papers which this article was based on, only tell one side of the story. I doubt he deliberately tried to kill someone though, but it sounds like there was some ignorance at play here. The Judge is apparently up for re-election this year, but I don't see how that would affected his objectivity, I really don't.....

Regardless, what I want to know is if this guy will ever be able to travel on the VWP again..... Is driving over someones toe a CIMT?
