TN visa and job title
My wife has a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She had a
job at a hotel in Canada before moving to live with me in the US. In
order to be eligible on a TN-1 visa, does her job title have to be
"Hotel Manager", as indicated in all the sites I've seen, or can it be a
lower rank, like "Sales Coordinator" as long as the job description
requires a degree in Hotel/Hospitality Management?
Thanks for the help,
Pankaj

The job title is less important than the actual duties she would be
performing. However, if she wouldn't be performing the duties typical
of a "hotel manager", it's unlikely she would qualify for a TN no
matter what the title is. You should seek guidance from a lawyer
experienced in TN work to see what is likely to be an acceptable job.
