Default TN Visa applying for AOS after 1 year of marriage

Hello :

I am a Canadian have been working in USA with TN visa for nearly
7years.

I married a USC last year. However, I couldn't apply for AOSright away
because I was busy with family issues. I did renew my TNvisa after
being married to a USC and the people in the border didn'task anything
and they just renewed my permit.

I also re-entered USA while I was married to a USC (because I thought I
can't leave the country while my AOS is pending and at that time I
hadn't even applied for AOS) .

I am going to apply for my AOS now (almost after one year) and myTN
visa will expire in March.

Should I a hire an attorney or just go ahead and send the forms myself?

Also, do you think leaving the country and renewing my TN after
beingmarried will cause problem in applying for AOS?

Thank you for your help. Curious

Hi:

Is this a poll? The decision is yours -- no one elses.

These are not mutually exclusive events. You can hire an attorney *and* you can send the forms yourself. You are the only one who knows whether or not you are capable of completing the forms and gathering the required evidence.

No.
