2 Questions...
Does anyone have recommendations on how a job offer for a Software
Engineering Technologist should be worked?
From the following list, does anyone know what (Note 5) refers to?
OCCUPATIONS AND PROFESSIONS ELIGIBLE FOR TEMPORARY ENTRY TO THE UNITED
STATES
a.. Scientific Technician/Technologist (Note 5)--Possession of (a)
theoretical knowledge of any of the following disciplines: agricultural
sciences, astronomy, biology, chemistry, engineering, forestry, geology,
geophysics, meteorology, or physics; and (b) the ability to solve practical
problems in any of those disciplines, or the ability to apply principles of
any of those disciplines to basic or applied research.

I just got my TN as a scientific technician, not in software engineering but
in biology. The job offer letter was nothing complicated and I got my TN in
10-15 minutes. In my letter they talked about how much money I would make
and there was a list of specific things I would do (various scientific
techniques), they didn't ask me many questions about the job at the
immigration, probably because they didn't understand what I would be doing!
Make sure they mention in the letter it's a temporary job (less than 1
year).
