TIMESCALES FOR VISA
5th June-applied for spouse visa in person and biometrics given on same day
6th June-documents and application received in Manila
28th July-email received by Manila asking us to resubmit financial form as self employed earnings cannot be combined
29th July-financial form re submitted via email and post
5th August-email received from Manila, 'Visa will be dispatched shortly'
7th August-collected from Singapore VFS office
I would like to point out that the whole process has been very stressful for me and my husband and I am grateful that we can put this behind us.
I would like to add, that as I was not working in Singapore and didnt meet the salary, we had to show my husband and his mother's joint account which made up the 64k.Maybe the government are not enforcing it so rigorously.
