Default Temp work visa?

My sister has a job offer (part time) in LA for a sales job. The company does not offer sponsorship as a rule, will this make it impossible for her to work there for a 2/3 year period? She has a degree in the same field (make-up artist) and wants to train more over there. If anyone could point us in the right direction I would be very grateful

I know how the aussie system works but am clueless for the US.

Thanks

To my knowledge, if the company won't sponser a work visa for her, she has to find some other legal method of coming to the USA which will allow her to work...and there aren't many.

Thank you! Will speak to her, she does not want pr there just the ability to work for a temporary period, to gain more experience in her field. Looks like she need to network more in her line of work.
