Talked to TSC today....

OK... have waited and waited, so I went ahead and called today... started using ye
ole re-dial button around 3pm.. got "into the system" at about
3:50... system said more than a 10 minute wait.. so I really didn't expect to talk to
anyone since their hours end at 4pm... BUT... at about 4:15 Cynthia answered....
Details: Cynthia said they are running behind and are processing the last 2
weeks of December.... I asked if they are "getting a little caught up" she
laughed and said no, not at all.. maybe even falling a little more behind... I
said that I had heard that they may have put more people on processing
I-129F's... she said that was news to her and that she didn't think it was
true... She says they have heard they will be hiring and training more people,
but no one knows when they will actually be on the job.... SOOOOOOOO I've read a
couple of posts recently indicating the TSC was taking steps to get caught up on
I-129F's... this employee didn't seem to think so... that doesn't mean she's
right, just wanted to share what she told me.... She looked up my case and said
it showed as "pending"... so I don't know if that means it has been assigned to
an agent or not... forgot to ask until I was off the phone.... Sorry that I
can't be sharing more positive news, but I appreciate when others share ANY news
from the TSC, so I wanted to do the same... maybe we could get volunteers and
out of all of us TSC people we might could get about 2 people per week to call
in and try to see what they say?? We could rotate so that we are not calling at
the same time and making the phone system worse.... anyone interested? My goal
would be to get 2 TSC updates per week posted on this newsgroup... wouldn't that

By the way.. I got an email saying that it was not a good idea to try to get MORE
people to all the TSC... I AGREE COMPLETELY.. That is NOT what I'm suggesting... I
feel that more than 2 of us per week from this newsgroup are calling the TSC and
waiting to talk to someone... let's say that maybe 10 people from this group call
each week... if we could cooperate a little, we could knock that down to 2 people
calling each week and sharing the response with everyone else.. then why would the
others need or want to call???? I know that the only true reason to wait to talk to
someone is if you have a real problem, like not getting your first NOA, or about a
RFE.. but I KNOW some of us are calling just to hear what they say about what dates
they are working on.. so let's work together so that not too many of us are calling
for that reason, but we are all getting the info... hope that doesn't sound too
