Oh the wonderful relief!!
My husband and stepson had their AOS interview in Baltimore today.
Everything went well though no stamp yet - we just need to wait for
the name check to clear.
After spending hours on building the paperwork folder with all the
originals we sent for the I-129F and I-485 and getting a new
I-864 notarized just in case, Officer E didn't want a thing except
for
the supporting proof of our marriage paperwork. VSC had sent them
everything. We haven't merged our finances or put anything in both
names except for one credit card. I presented her with copies of my
insurance benefits with Rune and Stein included, and copies of both my
insurance policies with Rune as beneficiary and two notarized letters
from friends. She didn't ask for any pictures and only asked us one
relationship question - How did you meet? No mention of medical or
vaccination records either. She just asked questions about selling
drugs and deportation, etc.
All in all a piece of cake!
I put our story in more detail on the kamya site.
Thanks for all your help along this incredible journey!
21 months or so before I have to worry about the INS now BICES! Yeah!
