Can someone, who filed I-485, while waiting for an approval attend a University?

Yes. And, if you want to work you can even file for an EAD. However, if going to
college, you will probably not be able to get the in-state or in-district tuition.

Thanks for the reply. I asked my foreign student advisor and she said that I am
considered in-state student since I got my degree from their school.![Smile](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

considered in-state student since I got my degree from their school.
