Default SSN applications

Hi guys, I came here to visit my girlfriend for two weeks on the visa waiver program, I decided to stay and got an attorney to file all my paperwork for change of status, work permit etc... apparently 90 days is the period in which i'll receive the EAD card so it should be here by November 20th. Does anyone know when I should apply for a SSN?

Also how and where i do this?

Thanks!

What advice? My attorney advised me to do it as my stay was unplanned due to pregnancy

So if they ask you or phone your employer in the UK ...
all the evidence will show you just left for a visit .. you still have property there and a car etc ...
and you married and filed before the 90 days ran out
fortunately is not me you have to convince

I stayed with my parents back home and had no car because I had a work vehicle. I called my boss from the states and had to give him notice via email which he will confirm and yes we got married before 90 days.

I wasn't aware this was an issue, my attorney advised us and filed all the stuff. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't break the law

I hope you mean that you married *and* filed AOS before 90 days. If not, you may find yourself in quite a pickle down the road.

I agree... well, not knowingly anyway - and that'll depend on how savvy he is with immigration law.
