Send Passport status after 221g for L1B

Hi,

Last week I saw the status change from "pending" to "send passport" on the 221g status checking pdf after 5 months, although the visa status tracker at https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/‎ still shows as Administrative Processing. So, I take it that sending passport still means Admin Processing and that they haven't finished that process. Is this the norm after send passport? The website says "You are required to submit your passport for issuance of the visa.". Does anyone have experience of this. How long does it usually take? thanks

No. When they want your passport, it usually means that AP has finished. However...

... the website is often wrong. Wait until you receive a letter instructing you to send the passport.
