OK - I'm posting this from Britishexpats right now,
which is what Rita uses to read the newsgroup.

Honestly, I don't see the FOR RITA - PLEASE READ thread on
here at all, which makes me wonder if she can read it. =(

I'm also wondering if I'll get this post through Free Agent.

Anyway - Rita - if you are reading this posts - the URLs
at the bottom of your posts that you keep referring to are
NOT showing up for most people. The only URL showing up is
the one advertising Britishexpats.com

It's not just one or two people experiencing this problem -
it seems to be most of us.

I got it thru Free Agent, here at work. But I also do not see any links listed in
the signature portion of Ritas posts. The ex-pats postings come thru fine, but it
looks like

This is actually how it was supposed to work to stop any accusations of spamming from britishexpats. It will be changed this weekend to include signatures so you should be seeing signatures in posts very shortly.

Also in the next couple of weeks britishexpats is being relaunched with much better features for newsgroup/forum integration. Which will eliminate any problems.

I'll send email to my ISP and let them know I'm not getting any news posted from
britishexpats. Maybe that'll help me out.

i don't know about sigs...but i had to access the ng through google today as my computer was having difficulties getting into britishexpats.com. i noticed a whole heap of posts there that aren't in britishexpats now - most notably a 13-poster sweetly entitled "Ladies - Get a VISA Quickly - Will marry for money!!!"

and haven't there been a couple of posts recently where people have realised through a reply quoting the original that they didn't actually get the original through their ng reader program?

No, I can't see her posts replying to this problem. I did see that for several days
she was telling everyone to see some imaginary URL's due to a simple problem. I did
see that she ignored this problem, for whatever reason. I figure she thought the
problem was on the viewer's end and not due to her error.

I gave a simple way to fix the problem and she still ignored it and even said she had
no idea how to fix it. (Whatever.)

Hey Betastar,
Thanks for turning me on to BritishExPats, I can now post and reply. I had been using deja but Google took over and no longer is set up for posting.
In addition, it's nice that this is BritishExPats.com since my wife actually is a BritishExPat. Say, how do you explain yourself, not being involved with any Brits?
