AFAICT misc.immigration.usa is a newsgroup for discussion of American immigration
stuff, but I can't find any evidence that the group itself is "American" and that one
should only post to it in English - it's not even in one of the local US newsgroup
hierarchies! Is there a newsgroup charter or something you can point to to support
the idea that it's not just one of the regular worldwide newsgroups? After all, it
seems reasonable for people the world over to discuss immigration to the USA. Thanks.

Actually I wrote that just because I can't really explain myself in French. I just
meant that the newsgroup is mostly used in English, and that it treats US
immigration. I didn't mean that one should only post in English, but for a better
understanding and information it would be more useful to use English. Best Sasha
