Default To Rete and others: Few questions

I applied for my green card in NYC thru my marriage in Aug 2002. I
received interview letter yesterday and it is scheduled for Feb 01 05.

I have few questions:

1. My wife who is my sponser is not working for last 9 months to take
care of our 9 mo old son. But I am working and I make over 100K per
year. My question is is that going to be a problem that my wife is not
working? Can I make myself also a sponsor on Affidavit of support ( or
should I get from someone else like my brother in law etc)

2. I did not have my birth certificate but what I had submitted was
following:
a. Letter from local municipal govt saying that the birth
certificate is not available.
b. A nototized affidavit from my parents confirming my birth
(place)

c. A "birth-certificate" from Indian consulate in NYC.

My question is do I need anything else.

3. In the letter they have asked for medical if I haven't already
submitted. I had submitted the form along with the application in
2002. Is that still valid or should I get the new medical done.

I know it is a long mail but I really appreciate any help.

Thanks
