Reschedule Oath Ceremony?

Reschedule Oath Ceremony?
My wife passed her Citizenship test a couple of weeks ago. She booked a trip a long while back to visit her family in Taiwan. She flew yesterday, and literally landed a couple of hours ago - murphys law the Oath ceremony appointment arrived in the mail today - 17th May. She isn't due to arrive back in US until May 31st.
Can she safely reschedule (9 days to interview) or should I be telling her to jump on a plane back here?

After reading a lot of horror stories on other immigration forums about rescheduling - she has decided to come back and attend the ceremony. After getting through the process quickly and cleanly would be a shame to stumble at the last hurdle.
