renewing a Green Card
Question for a friend of mine.
He and his family (all UKCs) have Green Cards (10 year variety) due to expire next February, what's the renewal procedure? Lives in the Bay Area so is a personal visit to San Jose or SF the only option or can these things be done by mail or online? Also, does the whole family have to show up or can he do it for everyone? Finally, how early can they be renewed, his advisor says 6 months. Any problems or pitfalls anyone is aware of?
All information most gratefully received and passed on.
Thanks
