I would like to know how you are getting along and if you have come to any conclusion on the regional center. Look forward to some advice, info etc.

:
Following our blog yesterday concerning South Korean immigrants who invested in one of the programs in South Dakota we have received a number of requests to provide further information. Given the legal nature of this report we are limited as to any further information we can give at this stage but the matter does raise a number of important issues.

We would repeat that although rare, this is not the first issue to occur with allegations by EB-5 investors. We have covered other reports and we stress the importance of talking through such issues with us prior to making an EB-5 visa decision.

As we also covered yesterday there are options that have a 100% record of success for their clients – regional centers that have had conditions removed from temporary green cards (I-829) and who have returned funds.

I think what Ray is saying is 'conflict of interest' may be prevalent. Most introducers to EB5 projects are paid a varying level of fee/commission.

Yes independent advice and due diligence is strongly recommended.

Wow, just reading this thread, I would like to know if anyone has got their conditions removed, also any more advice on whicheb5 would be appreciated.

Also , has anyone started with E2, and then invested in EB5

Thanks Diana

Congrats to you and good luck with your citizenship application.

Did you invest through a regional center, if so would you mind sharing which one and if you think you will be getting your investment back or not.

Any lawyer recommendation would also be appreciated, not sure if that is allowed in these forums which I am new to.

thanks
Diana

You can review an individual user's past posts (and most of their story) by clicking on their username and 'Find more posts by..'.
You'll find lots of information that way, as well as by reviewing the past threads (some lawyers have been recommended).

If you are having any trouble finding things, just message one of the moderators. You can find our names hotlinked at the bottom of the forum homepage so you can send a direct message. :)

I emailed Amlife on this last month.

They claim that all of their clients, who had applied and received a reply, have had their conditions removed.

Yes, we did invest through a regional scheme.

Not sure if I can say which one or recommend the attorney we used.

It is not 100% we will ever see any, all or a profit on our investment.

We do receive a small income of approx 1.5% per year which will increase as things get better :)

cranston, would it be too much trouble to get a PM from you with the details as well? I'm looking for someone to represent me in the process too.

MODERATOR NOTE:

It is perfectly fine for you to publically share the name of the lawyer you used for your immigration/investment processes.

Sharing immigration information in private message or email is strongly discouraged, for the sender's and receiver's safety. It's also contrary to the purpose of the forum, which is to share our experiences for the benefit of everyone.
thanks.
