regarding B-2 visa

Hi:

I have one question:

I'm Canadian and I will go to the US using the B-2 "prospective student" visa. My question is:

Can I change the B-2 "prospective student" visa later to H-1B visa?

Canadians don't need a B2, or an H1B visa. The easiest way to change status from a visitor to an H1B is to travel back to Canada and reenter with your I-797 approval notice. You could also file an I-539 by mail.
