Has any heard of anybody filing a asylum for Indonesian nationals? I saw few stories
about successful filings but my attorney has never dealt with that kind of case. Any
help is appreciated

Hi,
THIS SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED TO BE LEGAL ADVICE. I AM NOT A LAWYER. I DON'T EVEN PLAY
ONE ON TV!
Asylum law is a specialization in itself. I'd seek an attorney that has this
experience. One source may be the American Immigration Lawyers Association
(AILA). They have a web site at <www.aila.org> at this site you will be able to
ask for a referral.
If you are unable to afford an attorney your local INS office will be able to provide
you with a list of community service organizations that provide free or low cost
immigration counseling.
A number of Indonesians, particularly those of chinese ancestry have been admitted
as asylees.
