Recommend Civil Surgeon in SF-Bay Area

Can anyone recommend a civil surgeon in the SF-Bay Area? Have heard horror stories and the one recommended to me/who has the best online reviews is on vacation for several weeks.

I went to Dr Takis in San Bruno (worked close by)

The reality is...the examination etc is all a money racket - but she was friendly and knew the process inside out.

Yes: she's the one that's been recommended multiple times but she's on vacation for several weeks...I might just wait for her to get back!

She was really good, knew her stuff and was really personable - but is at the end of her career so works a few months of the year then goes on vacation. She doesn't have a secretary or anything. Her office looks dodgy as anything but she is legit.

My wife went to one in downtown SF which was a conveyer belt civil surgeon. As I said - it's a racket so just pick one and get it done.

I can't speak for San Francisco. However, based upon experience in L.A., it pays to note that the fees are NOT regulated. It may pay to call around. Also, from L.A. experience, it seems that Beverly Hills docs charged less that East L.A. Docs. Go figure.
