received welcome letter

Thanks to anyone who helped answer any questions I had while going through the process.
Last Tuesday I had my interview in Hartford, and although I was missing one original copy of my old J1 visa, the officer said it would probably not matter. He did not stamp my passport though, and I was expecting a RFE.
Yesterday I received my welcome to the United States letter! I am very relieved to have completed the first step in the process.
I filed the intial paperwork in April, so it has taken 7 months to get here.
Now I just wait 2 years to get the conditions removed...

Congratulations. I just got my green card last week (about 7 days after my welcome letter). Its a good feeling! Enjoy.
