Question re N-400, Part 6, Section A

I was on sabbatical for 11 months outside of the U.S. but kept my residence. While on sabbatical I rented a home in the foreign country.

Am I supposed to include the foreign address in the list in Part 6, Section A ("list every place you lived") ? Will it raise a red flag?

Thanks!

I believe the current threshhold is 1 year, so you don't need to mention someplace you lived for only 11 months.

Interesting point that I didn't know. Fortunately I'd only lived in 2 places in the past 5 years. But I've been here almost 10 years and had I applied back in 2004, I had lived in many places for only 6 or so months. So if they asked where I'd lived in the past 5 years and i didn't have to mentioned a place under a year, I wouldn't have had anything to write.

Since the OP kept their residence in the US, I would think it would be okay to list that address.
