Question on Attorney Review

Folks

Is there a website/review forum group, where I can review the Attorney review/credibility ratings etc?
I am not sure if there is any such things?

You can look them up in their State Bar Assn to see if there are complaints against them.
Otherwise, like with most things I get curious about, google "first name last name" + review or problem or scam or whatever your concern is.

You would figure if he was a good lawyer he would have been able to fool ICE....

Maybe he wasn't such a good lawyer ?

To the OP:

I would suggest to ask for references from prior customers with a similar case.

The most important thing (In my opinion) is to have accurate and shared expectations (think of it as a marriage)

On Fees, which is one of the first issues people I know complain about I always ask these questions...
How much ?
What does the fee include ?
What else will I likely be charged for ?
How ofter will I be contacted for a status update ?
If I call to get an update, is there a charge ? ( and if so how much ?)

Any reasonable lawyer (IMHO - at least the ones I have hired) will discuss these items openly and be clear on what is included/not included.

On Similar cases...

How many cases like mine do you do in a month ? in a year ?
How many are succesful ? What do you think are my chances, and why ?

Check out www.avvo.com.
Note however that when i wrote some very poor reviews of a certain immigration attorney, those were never published without any explanation.
